The flood are definitely my least favorite part of the halo franchise.

Then you won't like pretty much the entire series. And there's no way they're cutting out the flood, they're like half the game.

Hmm, this brings up a good question, I wonder what the flood will look like in this. I bet they made them suuuper scary. They actually changed the way the marines look, theyre not even similar.

I was excited about it, but once I realized it's just the campaign packaged with a map pack for Reach, I lost interest.

Why? The campaign of Halo 1 is the best part of the entire series.

I doubt I'll get it, but it is really interesting too look at. The art direction for the series has changed so much over time, the difference between the extra bland Tribes knockoff look to their more detailed organic style of the newer games is pretty jarring.

Oh, and I hope they don't mess with the pistol. I miss how hilariously unbalanced it was, especially on the pc version.

I agree. It's just that I already have two copies of the game and I just don't like Reach's multiplayer.

There's a ViDoc on Halo Waypoint about it. 343 has said that they haven't changed the gameplay at all.

They specifically said in some video the pistol is the same. As said in the thread earlier, it's literally running on the same original Halo engine.

I'm not a fan of them changing anything about the level design, AI, etc. The library experience, in all its frustration, was a significant part of the original game. Its flaws are part of history.

Changes to graphics = fine
Changes to content = unwelcome shades of George Lucas
