Have they redone the store interface, because otherwise it' still pretty much unusable :P

Glad it's back though, Sony stuttering through E3 with PSN down would've been painful to watch.

What's wrong with the store interface? I think it is preferable over the 360 or Wii frontends.

I've never seen the 360 one, but the Wii store is terrible. I find the PSN store very browse-inducing.

i agree with David. PSN store format is better than the 360 or Wii (i have all three consoles). that's something Sony is doing right. :P

I guess I can agree with that, PSN store is easier to browse, but I'm overall happier with my 360. One thing that teevs me about the PSN store is how fast the ads rotate. You see a deal you are interested in, and before you can click it, it rotates. Then you have to wait for 5-6 more ads to roll by for that deal to come back :P
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

The 360 store interface was good until about the third or so facelift. Yeah, nothing wrong with the look of the PSN store to me. Although, if it's even possible I still haven't figured out how to view screenshots for any game... which is a definite plus for XBL if that's not a feature on the PSN.

Yeah, there was one point where the 360 store was decent, because I could quickly pull up a list of all store items for a given game straight from the game details page. Then they removed it, for some reason. Good thing this was after I had pulled my Futari Black Label DLC; I'd hate to try and find it now.

Really? You think so? MAG is gigantic turd, in the same vein as Lair. Sure, people would jump on it for the first few days, but the numbers would drop off sharply like they did when the game was released, because it (for lack of a better word) sucks. :P

I see your point though, that a lot of PS3 owners might already own the games on offer. It can't be perfect for everyone -- but let's not forget the reality that not everyone will take advantage of the offer. Either you're going to get a freebie or two or not, but it's not the end of the world either way. There's still freebies to be had for the PSP, and there's that free month of (giggle) PS+ as well..
