Once in Sonic 3 I found a warp that sucked me from the beginning of a level above the screen all the way to the end. Can't remember what level. I could repeat it too, all you had to do was get to the top of the screen on a platform and jump into the "ceiling" in a certain point.
Once playing Gears of War online I managed to glitch the game 3 times. All 3 times I fell out of the area into no mans land. Once I fell off the train at the end while it was moving. I just sat there while my friend looked at me 100's of virtual feet in no mans land. Pretty bad for such a "AAA" game. The days of polished games are over. Got a glitch? Just update it. Stinkin Microsoft.
Did I mention my 360 went red ring 2 weeks ago. They all do.

I feel your pain. Especially since there are many games coming out soon (and MS is taking ages to send repaired systems back). On my 3rd one at the moment.gradualmeltdown wrote: Did I mention my 360 went red ring 2 weeks ago. They all do.
Anyway, back on topic, not sure what they are but I recall that the PC game Boiling Point is meant to be infamous for its huge number of bugs. I read somewhere , where they posted a txt file which listed the bug fixes that one of its patches made...i.e. "cats no longer hover at eye level"....Or something like that.

I cannot believe this one didn't come to mind.
When Mortal Kombat 1 came out of course I was all about it. Obviously we played the Genesis at home. I was maybe 14 or so? Anyway a friend of mine and I were in the middle of an all night session when....what appeared to be ERMAC appreared. Now we were nerds, and knew that the ERMAC legend was likely BS. What happened was this :
We were in the outdoor stage with all the statues. After what I think was the second round a gray not green Ninja droppped down in the middle of the screen. He said something is jibberish which was in a bizarre font. What was even more weird was it allowed us to pause. I wish I had video capture back then.
No bullshit. That was definately the most interesting gaming moment ever. Was it ERMAC? Was it a Genesis glitch on similar code? Who knows but it was cool. No one ever believed jeff and I.

God of War-The harpy fountain glitch
You'd kill one of those harpy things while on a ladder and it would release orbs, but if you did it right the harpy would be stuck on the ladder and caught in an infinite death loop so it would keep releasing orbs and never actually die.
X-Men Legends II-Nightcrawler's Awesome Teleport Frenzy glitch
One of my favorite glitches. By not putting any points in Nightcrawler's teleport attack power, you could later max out his more powerful teleport frenzy power and it would never cost any energy to use it. You could basically spam this power and just teleport around all day attacking your enemies with very little chance of them getting a hit on you. Coupled with passives that increased the damage of his teleport frenzy(not to mention his insanely powerful Master of Chaos super attack), this made Nightcrawler a top tier character in the game and pretty much the video game equivalent of the badass from the White House scene in the second X-Men movie
