There'll still be downloadable PSP games, at least the big name ones, and worst comes to worst, you can just buy a used PSP if you really want to play UMD games. They only cost like 50 bucks on Craigslist right now, so I'm assuming they'll drop even more when the PSP2/NGP comes out. Don't worry too much, there's always a solution!

That's what my plan is, just use my old psp for my UMDs, New psp for the new media... NVG Card I think.

for the record, I disagree with the whole UMD's are crap. And if my option is import a UMD for $40 or download it from the PSN for $10, I'll import.

Depends on the game, but I largely agree with you. I like my media to be physical.
