Space Channel 5 - quite hard!

Not a big fan of rythm action games at all. However, like some here has already said, this has a certain charm.

Anyway, I also find this game hard. Its been ages since I last played it but I remember having problems progessing. Level 1 wasn't too bad though. I guess its just a matter of remembering the actions required.

Part 1 seems to have like a slight delay in when you press a button and when the on screen action occurs. I read somewhere that Part 2 sorted this out?

I'm better, but last boss is REALLY tough

Post by Ivo »

I'm much better now, I guess it takes a bit getting used to. Thanks for the hint, Perseid - indeed after getting in the hang of it, I almost cruised to the last level, with little hitches.

I haven't yet finished because the last boss totally destroys me - I hate those pauses, and couldn't yet pass the dancing part of it (I assume that like in the others, there are a couple of shooting sections to finish).
Is there a good strategy regarding pauses? Counting to yourself? Trying to get the rhythm by performing the sequence when they say it the 1st time?

Ivo.
