What would you like to see the Racketboy Steam group do?

Because UT 99 (or Unreal Tournament (GOTY) according to Steam) doesn't rely on any sort of centralized multiplayer matchmaking system, it doesn't matter how you own it. Steam, GOG, Original Disc, Eyepatch. Just make sure you're all using the latest version (v436 IIRC), choose someone to host and you're good to go.

Yes, this is a good idea, I've been thinking about this a lot lately. A lot of people are in the steam group but we hardly ever interact with each other. I've taken to organising things through IRC. It would be nice if people joined the Steam Chat. Currently there is 21 people online in the group. Nobody is in the chat. It would be nice if we could utilise this tool.

I think we should organise events for the most popular games that are sure to get people playing. Such as Left 4 Dead 1/2, Team Fortress 2, Borderlands, Magicka, Bad Company 2 etc.

I'd get in the chat if I had a computer. Right now, I'm stuck with my iPhone.

Unfortunately, I can't participate in UT3, however, I do have 2004 for Mac laying around somewhere.

I don't have it on steam, but I do have the Unreal Anthology, so I've got copies of UT99 and 2k4.

I'm always down for TF2, Killing Floor, L4D1, or Alien Swarm if anyone is interested. I'm Ernesto_S in the Steam group.

Completely agree! I have more hours on KF than any other steam game I have! If only people got as pumped up for KF as they did for CoD or TF2....

Damn shame. It's a great game. I actually prefer it over L4D. Haven't played L4D2 yet.
