By terrible, I mean the colours are off, while thats not terrible for a lot of people, it is for me. I remember Medal of Honor in particular looking weird. I suppose if all you've ever played on is a 3k, then, it's probably a non issue. It's all completely subjective anyway.

Agreed on the subjective bit. I've played all three iterations of the PSP though, and I find it hard to say that one is superior out of the 3, especially to the untrained eye. To most people, all 3 will look more or less the same. The 3000 definitely has some notable issues though (like the grid-lines and the border that this thread is about).

I'm sure this isn't the case, but it looks like you applied a screen protector and didn't press it down along the edges.

Also, one thing everyone else has forgotten to mention is that you can lower the saturation on the 3000 if it bugs you in the system menu.
