Always nice to see more guides for this. I personally use Goo gone route for most sticker residue but never figure to use cardboard as base. Still got some that I need to clean that I'll probably use that idea.

How about a way to polish handheld screens?...

Bought a GB micro a few days ago, and even though it's in very good condition, there's this one tiny scratch on the screen. Nothing big, most people wouldn't even be bothered about it, but I do. Is there any way to remove those scratches without killing the cover?... Getting an original replacement cover is like virtually impossible it seems, so I really don't want to fuck this one up...

Sorry I should have been more clear. It does not have to be the brand in the sample pic. Any Plastic Polish (not cleaner) will work. The ones made to polish out plastic convertible top rear windows at automotive stores.

I learned the "don't remove blockbuster / hollywood video stickers" the hard way.

Everyone's copy of Breath of Fire 4 and Power Stone just went up by a little.

Thankfully had less than $5 invested total.

I'm definitely going to use this method to clean my disks when I do, but I was wondering about the myth for toothpaste? Apparently a lot of people clean their disks with toothpaste, do you have any idea how that works out?

Toothpaste may help in cleaning, maybe removing very fine scratches. I don't think it would work as well as Plastic Polish.

for labels that dont easily come off I have always used lighter fluid and a cloth.

Brought up a great point. emwearz mentioned using Olive Oil. Any petroleum based fluid helps to break down the sticker glue. Both are great alternatives if there is a risk of LiftOff or GooGone damaging the plastic.
