It was Shrink Wrap sealed, NOT factory sealed. Hard to tell if it was legit.
what do you mean?

VGA won't grade a game that isn't factory sealed.
if you took a shit, please put it back

FF7 black labels that have the rear Greatest Hits case liner are legit in theory, some did come from the factory like this, but it's easy to reproduce illegitimately. That being said, these copies are less valuable than a normal black label. The only valuable misprint is the 'Masterpiece' text on the back, and even then it's only a small percentage increase in value.

i am not sure what the arrows are pointing out, what this isn't factory sealed?

so why did VGA grade it?

and these are not rhetorical questions.

It is actual heat shrink wrap, so it was done in a store. If it was factory wrap it would be folded and glued like how you wrap gifts.

Yeah, this. Factory sealed PSX and PS2 games have that "Y-fold." A seam is an instantly obvious sign that it's a reseal.

The fact that VGA graded that copy of FFVII really impugns their authority on the matter.

Did not know that I had a misprint Black Label until I read this and went and checked. Sweet, cool to have the "rarest" version of my favorite game EVAR :D

Even if it is a factory misprint, I'm sure it just decreases the value if anything. If a buyer is looking for a black label copy, they want just that, not black label with a Greatest Hits back cover (which basically makes it a Greatest Hits printing run).
