Hmm, for me the dead giveaway was the checkpoint. Sonic 2 was the only one that the checkpoint had a star on it, Sonic 1 and 3 just had a lamp pole with a blue light bulb that turns red when to cross it.sevin0seven wrote:both pics are from level 1. look at the green hills floor comparison..final fight cd wrote:how were you guys able to distinguish between sonic 1 and sonic 2?
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
Re: identify 100 retro games from 100 small screenshots
Easily. Have you played them?final fight cd wrote:how were you guys able to distinguish between sonic 1 and sonic 2?
The floors, trees, sky color, clouds, etc. are complete different in them.

Line 3 - its Megaman 2, thats the metal man boss if im seeing it right, the last games font and graphic style makes me think it might be a lucasarts game. Monkey Island maybe?
Line 4 - nope, i cant tell those 3 either
Line 5 - no idea what the football game is. Sensible Soccer?
Line 6 - nope, no idea for these either. I think I recognise that really old looking one on the right, but i cant quite place what it is.
Line 7 - Megaman 3 (Thats the 3rd Wily Machine), still don't know the other one.
Line 8 - y'know, this football/soccer game looks the same as the other one on line 5. Part of a series perhaps?
Line 9 - No idea for your first 3, but the 4th ? is Pokemon Red/Blue.
Line 10 - You missed NBA Jam, i dunno the rest.
Damn, I didn't help much...
Re: identify 100 retro games from 100 small screenshots
I'm pretty sure the soccer games are Sensible Soccer. Dunno exactly which ones, however... If we could get a higher res picture...

I bolded your blanks. Unsure at the rest. Also, you said that line 8,5th image was another world. It's actually Flashback. I also find it interesting that you got Jet Set Willy but not Manic Miner...
