I hadn't thought about this in awhile. Does it have a release date yet?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I don't know. It seems like I hear about it every month or so on various gaming sites. But jeez I played the demo way the hell back in March. I really figured it would have come out this year.

It makes me sad that there are games like this that are digital only.

It makes me sad that the market is such that a game like this can only succeed if it is digital only.

I'm interested but dislike that a crappy butchered English dub voice actress is in it/directing the voice acting. That will suck big time. Burn in hell, Cristina Vee.

Yeah :/

I mean, I'm not vehemently anti-digital like some, but I do still prefer a hard copy. That said, I do understand the business angle of it, and like that it's at least an option. Just would like, say, the option of an on-demand direct purchase too.

I prefer physical copies as well. In my opinion, digital games are kind of like "discard after use" products that you get rid of after you don't want to play them anymore, because they just take up space and have no real value.

This is a totally independent game made by fighting game players and fans.. Would have been hard to get a retail version developed.
