I joined for Together Retro. They were playing Castlevania that month.

i joined after segaxtreme went the way of techno-jargon that was way, way, way over my head. i was a little put off by the fact that we were talking about things that weren't sega-related on the site for quite some time.

Shut up! I got dust in my eye!
I'm, uh, not going to name names because I don't want to accidentally leave someone out. I'm sure everyone I talk to fairly often knows I think they're pretty cool, right? Lots of people I only talk to every once in a while I think are pretty cool too.

Re: why did you originally join racketboy?
I was familiar with the Racketboy name before through various articles but I never noticed the forum. I met with two local friends (one of which I went to high school with) who also likes retro games and I wanted to get people together with the same interest. I was getting tired of internet only friends
. So I joined here right in the nick of time when Sevin created the Bay Area Rackeboy Meetup thread. I check on the forums often now. The site has great content and the community consists of cool members.

I joined, cause of all the retro themed sites mentioned on Retrogamer, this was the one with the best articles and laytout.
I'm also probably the person with the longest record of not using the Buy/Sell/Trade section. The first time I used it was a couple of months ago.
Also people here loved Sonic on the Mega Drive. Can't go wrong with that. Now if only they accepted the fact that the best 2D Mario game of all time was Super Mario Land 2.....

It didn't get me to second base, and that got me really upset, so I came on here and started a thread about it.
