@toadhall
sorry for being rude
'tis 3AM and it's been a long night
last thing I wanted to do was argue about the same old discussion I've had with current-gens, through every generation
I just noticed your blog and I'm headed there now
again, sorry for my behaviour

No hard feelings Lord Santa! Do check out my blog. I'm one of the biggest Nintendo fans around
For recommendations, check out
this NeoGaf thread. I personally think it's the best GBA game recommendation list EVER but maybe other forumers have a list which they think is better?
Not on that list however is Mother 3 (sequel to Earthbound). It was only released in Japanese but there's a superb fan translation available and if you are able to get that, I strongly suggest you put the translated rom onto a GBA flashcart and play it on your GBA SP. You won't regret it!
p/s
Oh and while we're talking GBAs and NeoGaf threads,
this thread will make you want to hunt down a Game Boy Micro for yourself.

The GBA should not be understate even in today's standard, it basically secured Nintendo's monopoly in the handhelds for at least a good 5 years!
Ironically, it was my bro that got the GBA along with several games, before quitting on it and "hand-me-up" to me, and I got several more games for it now.

The GBA SP is my handheld of choice when I travel abroad. It fits in a pocket, plays GBA, GBC, GB and NES games (with a flashcart and emulator) and can be played in the dark as well as in bright sunlight.

I've said it a lot of times, but I'm fairly certain SFIITR is my favorite GBA cart ever.

Nah. It's a terrible, terrible system. All the games are for kids.
Of course, we all know Noise is the Sony guy. What the hell would he know about a Gameboy?
Yeah, Noise, it's been strange to see our resident Gameboy guy venture off into other gaming territory. How does it feel to spread your wings, eh?

haha, it's funny but you guys don't realize... here's my gaming lineage starting at age 5:
C64
Atari 2600
NES
GB
Genesis
SMS
Game Gear
TG-16
Sega CD
SNES
PS1
PS2
GameCube
NDS
PSP
Wii
I was never actually alien from other consoles. BUt yeah I know I've become the GB guy in the past year. So it feels kind of weird in a sense to get so into these other systems. But truthfully, I've learned so much in the past 2 yrs since I've sold my PS2/PSP about games (got into Shmups for instance, learned a lot about imports, etc) so now I'm kind of experiencing these systems for the first time all over again. It's really fun.
but I feel funny in a way. Like I'm not supposed to play non-GB stuff. But hey. It is what it is.
