Great review! It's nice to see a "fair" look at the game for once. Most people focus on it as a QTE game and completely dismiss the experience and production quality.
We had a lot of fun with this one when we were kids. At one point we had the entire game memorized. We set up the Sega CD to a VCR and made a nice little anime film out of it. Unfortunately, at that point it was kind of boring to watch. The VHS made for a fun novelty when I worked at Software Etc, giving customers something to watch during the anime boom of the mid 90s.
