Originally I had the latest driver from nVidia. No difference there, that's why I tried the Microsoft driver this time.

Sorry to confuse. The card reader I was talking about in my last post is built into the printer. HP didn't make a driver for the printer that will give that card reader functionality. As far as the computer is concerned, it doesn't exist.
