I'd buy this, except that I refuse to use Steam. I'm sure that the glitches will be patched away soon.

Shame, Strangers Wrath looked really interesting to me.

If you have a PS3, they're remaking it as a downloadable game for PSN. Or you could just buy an original Xbox. You won't regret it.

Stranger's wrath and Munch's Oddysee worked pretty well for me. Works perfectly with a 360 controller. I had a lot of problems with the first two games though. I prefer to play them on the PS1 anyway.

For the price its not much of a risk to give them a shot. Especially if you have no interest in collecting for the X-box.

I find that totally bizarre since the first two work fine for me on Windows 7 Pro x64.

Abe's Odyssey and Abe's Exodus were both developed on PC with a PS1 port in mind. They run well on PC because that is the native format. The PS1 version runs almost as well (albeit with fewer colors and sound effects) because the developers decided early in the development process to make a PS1 version.

Yeah, not sure why the first two don't like my computer. I didn't do much detective work since I have no interest playing them on my PC anyway.

I'm running Vista 32 and don't have any problems whatsoever with Munch or Stranger. I guess that's not typical!
