They absolutely should.

Maybe this will encourage me to read the three books I have been sitting on for over a year :P

I plan on reading more Edward Lee. In fact, I recently read the preview excerpts of "Brides of the Impaler" and "The Black Train" on my Kindle app. I also have that used copy of "Flesh Gothic".

Though I plan on transitioning from books to ebooks in '11, cuz I plan on cutting down on how much possessions I own.

But back to books... more horror, try to get back into James Bond (I have Casino Royale, so logically, I'll start there).

Also, maybe this is the year that this gets published:

PS: the pic is also a link.

I've read chapter 10, which was posted about a decade ago by Manson. Give it a check out. And to hold you to it:

Actually finished two today. The first was Dead Until Dark, the first of the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood series. I didn't like it enough to continue with the next.

The other was Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. Also working on another book by him, called The Way of Kings.

If that counts, then I can probably contribute to this thread. Might as well count comic books too. Same thing

As for novels, I may give The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo a read before I see the movie

If by comic books you mean 20-30 page standard issues, then I wouldn't count those, really. It would be like saying I read the newest Game Informer or National Geographic. If you mean bound volumes or entire series, perhaps those could count :)

Again, it is all personal decision. Those are my .02. I created the thread primarily for discussion of long-form books (novels, biography, philosophy, etc.).

Traditional graphic novels aren't really collections of issues at all such as American Born Chinese or the many others out there. I would not count series trades myself, unless you finish an entire series such as Y: The Last Man
