Anyone want to make me a portable GameCube?
Re: Anyone want to make me a portable GameCube?
There are some guys who can make portable GameCube's, more portable than the one you had (integrated), however would cost more than $300 for sure.

I know. I thought about having that done this time but instead I'm getting a portable 64. And its just as portable as my GC. So barely. It will be mounted to my chest like a laser tag pack.

Okay this may be ridiculous and a little bulky, but may add to the effect of your video as in Dreamcast Typing of the Dead images. Also an easy mod.
Maybe a a Gamecube with the portable LCD screen attached. Gamecube requires 12 volts, a small 12 volt motorcycle battery for the power source?

Re: Anyone want to make me a portable GameCube?
GameCube is bulky because of the drive unit however an N64 portable is far more portable and compact made into a handheld, no reason to have a belt attachment!NathanBarnatt wrote:I know. I'm going to custom make a new mould for vacuum forming for making some portables for sale to basically shift my existing stock of goodies; if you don't mind waiting for a matter of a few months, I could make you one if you like. Making the casings so it will be easy to fit the boards inside without much board trimming, which will mean making systems will be faster to make and easier for other people to make too. Going to make a casing like a large format original GBA as its classy, looks nice and easy to work on. Anyway, i'll leave the idea with you, if you're interested, let me know; the casing will be on my forum when I get around to making one, which will be after finishing my Intellivision controller section and the next project video; and trying to repair a Wii for someone (a quick commission).
It's better to have an integrated portable rather than a console and separate controller unit!

If you change your mind I make portables and would gladly do one for a commission. You pay me for the parts and I will build it and then when finished (will take only 3 weeks) you can pay me the rest and I will ship it to you.

This sounds like awesome material for a video.NathanBarnatt wrote:He said he punched an off duty cop.
