Second on Bells, I never get it much for no particular reason but it rarely leads me wrong. I mostly drink Founders, it helps that I'm a 10 minute walk from the brewery :), I prefer stouts and they have some of the best I've tried.

Does anyone here drink much aged beer? I bought a bottle of Sam Smiths Yorkshire Stingo a few weeks ago and it was exceptional. It tasted closer to a scotch or bourbon (but w/o all the alcohol) than beer. It was pricey ($12 for a pint bottle) but I really want to try some other aged stuff.

I like Rolling Rock. Might not be my favorite, but I like it alright.

Christmas / Winter beers:

Sam Adams's Old Fezziwig is my personal favorite. Only available, to my knowledge, in a mix pack. The Sam Adams brewery tour is the only place which has it on tap anywhere, and it is divine. Toasty, and a little spicy. Highly recommended.

I've also gotten into the Harpoon brewery's Winter Warmer. Pretty good, but not as nice as Sam Adams.

Other recommendations are Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale, and the Abita Christmas Ale.

Drink up for the holidays

If I have to drink beer I prefer it be light beer. Watered down urine > pure urine.

Well as much as I want to act like I drink some awesome, unique beer.... I don't.

It's always been Coors Light.

Coors light on the boat, during beer pong, during the Colts games, during the Hoosiers games, basically for anything I choose Coors Light.

Of course I try the other stuff too, but never find anything I enjoy better.

I can't pretend to be the most sophisticated beer consumer in the world, in fact I will most often be seen drinking Natty Light or PBR if the decision is buzz vs. moneys. But when I feel like pampering myself I drink (1st favorite) Moosehead or 2nd favorite (Guinness).

We need to keep this thread incredibly more snobby. Discussions of Rolling Rock and Natty Ice need not apply here.

I feed imported hops to my Civets, then they excrete it. I then use the fecalated hops to brew my beer and age it for 81 years in barrels made from bamboo that was soaked in panda blood.
