They don't have to be exclusives.
Minority Report isn't an exclusive either IIRC

Uhhhh I listed Disaster Report not Minority Report. I can only imagine what that game is like.

I thought these 'hidden gems' are games that are exclusives.

Ah well

It was bad, worse than the movie. Shame the movie wasnt more like the short story.

Even though the game had a Hybrid Heaven vibe, it just did not deliver.

It helps, but not a requirement.
If the game is worthwhile, it should be mentioned.
It would be a shame if solid multiplatformers weren't mentioned at all just because they showed up on more than one system (Beyond Good & Evil, Alien Homind, etc)

One of the BEST slash-em-up kick the shit outta everything on the screen 600+ hit combo game that I'm totally loving atm is Sengoku Basara aka Devil Kings.

I dl'd the sequel which is only in Japanese but totally playable but it's alot easier than the first one so I guess I"m missing the difficulty selector in translation. Maybe one of my kids will want to learn Japanese and someday help me understand some of these brilliant games meant to mock us ignorant westerners.

So if you want to play it I suggest snagging the Pal ver somewhere and converting it w/ Jayteemaster's patch. It works great and you can understand everything.

Best part is that it has the 3 difficulty lvl's so you'll always be challenged... the maps are a little repetitive but the eyecandy more than makes up for it imo.

I love these lists -- just as I pimped up Devil Dice and Xai Jumbo for the PS1, here's some love for Bombastic.

Bombastic is, of course, the PS2 sequel to Devil Dice. Decent to great solitaire puzzle play, but it really shines for frantic multi-player goodness. The game introduces a new concept to the whole Devil Dice idea: when you match dice, they explode -- which creates some chain reactions, and generally causes more regular pain and frustration to your little devil dude. What is particularly nice about this incarnation, is that you can quite easily unlock "classic" play -- turn off the exploding dice, and play by the old skool rules.

you could also pick up Gadget Racers, it was released very early, like right after GT3: A-Spec. it's a re-packaged ChoroQ game but i'm not sure which one and i really don't want to go to gamefaqs and look it up.

FYi -- Someone recommended Mojo. Stumbled upon that game on Friday at my local Toys 'R Us in there 4.99 bargain bin -- they have about 10 copies of it at mine. They also had Fallout Tactics and a few other titles at that price.
