Actually most of the Gamecube games seems to be holding steady at the used prices at Gamestop. Few such as Pikimin 2 are still at forty bucks used though.
Funny you mention this. I've had GS's Pikmin 2 page bookmarked for almost two years now. Went from $45 aaaaall the way down to $40 in that time..

And let us know how that manager's discount turns out. I may have to try that out myself!

You might be able to use the fact that some of the games could have been on the shelf for a while to your advantage. The date is usually hidden as a number like 120610 would be today's date, etc. Good luck!
Wow, that means this new copy of Konami Classics 1 for 360 I bought over the weekend had been on the shelf since 01-07-10.

Well, this is very good news for a Gamecube collector like me! I have well over 100 Gamecube games right now, most of which I, too, bought for dirt cheap. I predict that GC games in general will see a rise in price after they leave Gamestop shelves.

I also have a big spreadsheet of all the games I aim to collect and their prices (which I update occasionally off of vgpc). I hadn't updated Gamecube in a while (about 24 games on my list); after updating the entire value of these was only $13 higher than a month ago. Spread out over 24 games it's just a .50 cent increase over a month or so... although before I believe it was always dropping. So not a big increase but also didn't decrease.

I don't recall when but I got Pikmin2 at Gamestop for $10 maybe around 2006-7. Seriously can't recall though (got Pikmin1 at the same price).

That's pretty much how I felt the first time I realized it. Although, I was fortunate to snag a copy of Fatal Frame 3 earlier this year the day after they put it on the shelf!
