There is this one PC game called One Must Fall 2097 that is probably not as known as it should have been.

Doesn't everyone know OMF 2097? Maybe I'm just the right age where it was shareware on mine and all my friends new PCs at the time. I've talked about this game every few years with my friends, and how it was fun, but I don't know about how much lasting value it has...

I would say it's well known among the PC crowd, but many gamers are very console biased and play console games much more. Even among PC gamers, as an arcade style game it might not be that well known as (stereo)typically PC gamers play other sort of games. But it might be known by everyone and I don't know that it is famous. It is in Home of the Underdogs so it can't be that famous...

I didn't know anything about it even though I was knowledgeable about DOS games back then. I guess PC gaming is extremely broad area and I never touched PC fighters after trying mugen. So far the music kicks ass.
