JP 20GB PS3 Plays US Games and Blu Rays?

So just to clarify:

ANY JP PS3 can play

ANY US/JP Blu rays
ANY US/JP PS3 Games
JP PS2 Games
JP PS1 Games

Yes and no. Not all JP PS3s can run PS2 games. Just the early models.

Note that JP PS3s cannot run the new Netflix app. Yeah, I was pissed. My streaming disc expires in a couple of weeks and there goes netflix for my JP PS3. I have a US PS3, too, but that's all the way out in the friggan living room. Getting up sucks!

Wait a second... what about:

ANY US REGULAR DVDS?

Why not just get a U.S. PS2 Fat to augment your Japanese PS3? Throw in HDAdvance/HDLoader with maybe a Flip Top for a big uncontrollable grin.

Also add an inexpensive upscaling DVD player to handle the DVD movies.
