Ever since the beginning they have changed their level up system, improved the graphics, grown bigger (and more annoying) story lines.
The battle system though? what the HELL have they done to that? they added that little berserk bar thingy. added stupid little extra magic equipment that only lasts one game. BORING.
FF tactics is ok. I didn't really beat it, I couldn't get over the damn FF side of it, and there are plenty of tactical style RPGs out there for me to play.

I'll have to admit something, no matter how pathetic it may sound... but I am like that total opposite of the person who clings to band wagons. Which is just as bad.
When I see a band wagon coming through town filled with Halo lovers and Titanic fans I immediatly jump ship and instantly gain a slight bias for the game. Not sure why, it just up sets me knowing that these 'big games' get so much love an adoration for some meager thing they've done which has already been done.

i totally agree on the GT sentiments. the only thing close to a simulator that i like is project gotham 2 (haven't played 3).
i totally disagree with lumping stephen spielberg in with george lucas and james cameron. spielberg is a big time director and has done a lot of terrible, terrible movies (A.I. anyone?), but i personally loved Saving Private Ryan, War of the Worlds, etc.

Lucas is a little seperate though... I just had to say Lucas. So I put it in.
and surprisingly I some what enjoy A.I., not for the movie, but for the story. It could have been done a lot better though, it really felt like Spielberg was trying to be like Kubrick in it... and well Spielberg doesn't do enough drugs, nor is psychotic enough to emulate Kubrick. Not saying Kubrick is some unmatchable genius, no he is an unmatchable mad man who didn't even get what the hell he was doing (check interviews of him, he was once asked what the ending scene in 2001 meant... his answer was that he had forgotten any reasoning of why he had done that part of the film the way he had.)
