That's about how I feel with the Kirby games. Kirby isn't hard, but neither is eating a chocolate sunday.

My copy arrives in a few days (Damn you Nintendo and your Sunday release days!). I played it back at PAX and was sold instantly. Sure, you can't die, but Super Princess Peach was the same (technically you could die, but it was really hard to do so). The visual style is extremely well done and they take great advantage of it in the level design.

Maybe he's playing the release from a different region?

While Kirby has never been considered a hardcore game, it still was pretty challenging in its own right, but point taken, I see what you mean...

Looks interesting, inspired by a Boy and his morphing Blob?

Games should NEVER be FUN!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

The Japanese release hit the web on the 13th, followed by an English patch on the 14th. The US release hit on the 15th. Whenever someone is playing a game a good few days before the release there's only ever 2 explanations -- a store got it shipped early and began selling (which rarely, if ever happens on first party Nintendo games), or they downloaded the release on the internet. :p
