Kids like you can develop stuff?
What an age.
What an age.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Hi. My name is Aaron.
Well yeah the tools are all online, I use NESASM for now, YYChr, Tilemolestor....and wrote a CRAPPY C file to split my games, it works, but it's getting a re-write REAL soon.....maybe even c++ :3
But yeah, I love making stuff with programming and progamming in general, and love assembly. Since you control everything. I just took some time, went from Basic, to assembly, HTML, Javascript, now back to assembly and some C and anyone's guess what's next....probably nothing. XD
And if you were in the USA, You'd be alot more marveled about it. Kids here don't know how the hell a computer actually works. It scaries me. But hey, it's more job security when I become a programmer.

Re: Hi. My name is Aaron.
welcome aboard aaron II.
It's really great to see younger dudes get into retro gaming. A lot of us have it in our blood becuz it's what we grew up on. It's always nice to see someone who didn't have that same exposure appreciate it. Also, it's even greater to see someone so young with an interest in developing retro titles. Good luck on the 2600-->NES port. Sounds awesome!

Yeah thanks. It actually was my first system, the NES. Then I got a N64 when it came out and that was the last new system I got until PS2, then 360. All other systems have just been attained from yard sales. I have pretty much every common system out there.
10 NES's....200 games. I'll post pics later of my collection.
Yeah well I like programming in general, it's hard to understand and use, but when you get stuff running, it just gets easier and easier. Also, did I mention I do some HTML? View in Chrome/Safari/Webkit browsers for the pretty view with round boxes.....I have about 25 pages done on my PC with basically 100% customizeable pages, since the only thing really on the page in my Halo Layout 2.0 is the main text, everything else is customizeable so it's easy to edit. Check it out.

I have alot more sites but thats about it. If the NESDev coding competition ever goes forward, it might use the template I whipped up for it. ^_^
Yeah the port iss going okay, just like I said, needs a re-write of the engine and add more stuff to get it playable.....then easter eggs. Literally!
