I really want to see a Sticky or Dedicated Thread based on getting Sega Saturn's up and running and Troubleshooting problems.


How do i go about getting it implemented into the Racketboy Forums ?

I also plan on getting more Saturn's next year and would like to get something going for that.

Start compiling all the necessary info. Go through all the "Saturn mod chip help!" threads and pick out all the useful info. Then turn it into a guide/FAQ and post it in a new thread in the tech help forum.

howdy Ziggy thanks for responding , that is a phenomenal idea i have started compiling info and am going to continue tomorrow its about 4:00am atm.

Worked for me! :lol: I can't believe that was a year ago...

Also, that topic I linked too has some great information in it. It pretty much covers all the bases as far as Saturn mod chips go.

Hey guys,
Sorry for the much delayed reply. I ended up exchanging the chip for another one and have it installed, and now as far as I know its working but I've run into another issue. The saturn will spin up retail games just fine, but when there is a CD-R in the drive, the disc will not spin up. Any Ideas how to fix it?

Are you powering on with the disc already in? If you don't have an import cart plugged in, are the burns set to the region of the machine?
