Burn it slower? Clean the lens in the Dreamcast? Possibly test the disc out (that you just burned) in another Dreamcast system that is verified to boot CD-Rs.

i burned a DC game and had both om my DCs set up.......... i tried the disk in my original one and the game started up great.............

when i tried the game in the new DC on startup it went right to the music player....
when im on the main menu i press the " play game" button and it asks me to insert a disk......... any suggestions

Newer Dreamcasts won't read CDRs.

keep in mind that my dc may not be reading the burned games because of it being made after october 2000..........

so after i convert the cdi to bin, do i need to set any settings? or do i just let nero burn it?

Also, while this is burning........ if this doesnt work, are there any tricks i can do to make the DC read burned games even though it was made after oct. 2000?
