PS3 Move
Re: PS3 Move
I can't play Move games. I'm left handed. They don't make a move controller with an analog stick. Same problem I have with the Wii. Nintendo and Sony hate left handed people.

don't we all?!ujnhunter wrote:I can't play Move games. I'm left handed. They don't make a move controller with an analog stick. Same problem I have with the Wii. Nintendo and Sony hate left handed people.

At least Lightgun games such as Time Crisis and House of the Dead can be enjoyed again. A perfect timing with CRTs not being sold anymore. Socom supposed to be expanding on the same lightgun effect. It'll be interesting to see how an FPS does with House of the Dead instant accuracy.

Re: PS3 Move
wait. what? can't you just switch hands? like- ball controller in the left and analogue in the right?ujnhunter wrote:I can't play Move games. I'm left handed. They don't make a move controller with an analog stick. Same problem I have with the Wii. Nintendo and Sony hate left handed people.
I plan on picking one up, and not getting the xbox kinect. LIke most everyone else, i'm waiting on a few games to come out that i like before i make the jump. There really is like... no support yet for the move, beyond what it is packed with in the starter kit.
I'm really interested to try out RE5 once it drops in price. I picked that game up day one, so i'm not going to get it again until it is under 20 bucks. But, from playing RE4 on the wii, i bet it is going to be fantastic. Really love the way the wii handled it.
Other than that- i might pick up 'the fight' once it drops in price. But i'm really interested in the time crisis game, and Sorcery. Those are day one games. Based on what i hear about deadspace, i might get it on the ps3, rather than the 360 too.

Re: PS3 Move
Can one of you maybe explain the no left handed theory? I see no "right handed" cut molding on the move controllers, so I guess I am kinda confused?
I just got done playing disc golf for...a good while, and I can say being that I play, I do enjoy being able to throw all my favorite shots where as before I used to be told to release the disc this way, dont do that do THIS...got really old. So, nice to play how I actually play for once.
Still wondering, how did sony or nintendo count out left handers?

Re: PS3 Move
What THUMB does everyone normally MOVE their character with on EVERY controller ever made? Can you see the lefty problem now? You guys don't see the problem because you don't have to deal with it.
I've moved Mario around the screen the same as all of you for the past 20 years... but Wii Mario games either force me to feel handicapped by pointing with my Right hand or move Mario with the WRONG thumb!
The only lefty friendly games are ones that use only the Wiimote and not the Nunchuck. i.e. On-rails games or Wii Bowling. Even Punch-Out! hates me because there is no option to switch which control goes in which hand... I have to punch with the opposite hand that Little Mac does!

Re: PS3 Move
So, the only reason you have a problem is because you were forced to play mario games right handed in the past? Are you saying any left hander who the wii or the move is their first system would have this problem?ujnhunter wrote:What THUMB does everyone normally MOVE their character with on EVERY controller ever made? Re: PS3 Move
Actually....move has the option of putting in how you want to use what you use. So no I dont see the problem. You only need the motion controller to play move games, adding the joy stick is a bonus on later games, and again...you can pick which hand goes in what, and the game gives you the option of setting up what your holding in what hand. So nope, guess I dont understand. Good thing I am right handed?

Re: PS3 Move
No. I'm saying all the controllers in the past weren't "handed". You just used your fingers and thumbs. The only way to make the Wii & Move controllers that aren't right handed biased would be to make them symmetrical. I need an analog stick on my Wiimote and an 'A' button on my Nunchuck is how it stands right now.pepharytheworm wrote:So, the only reason you have a problem is because you were forced to play mario games right handed in the past? Ah ok, now I understand. Hmm, well, if your handy some heavy modding could be done. Or just pay someone to make one. I guess I can see how that can be a bitch on motion for left handed people. Practice? or just stop playing games for 2 years, and then start again?
