Plus the character designs are more appealing say when compared to the Dynasty series of games.

I'd have to disagree with that, Mitsunari and Tokugawa's character designs are just atrocious. Masamune though, is pretty badass. I'll give you that.

I'm still confused as to why this is only $40, but I'll take it. It's strange, the last 4 new retail games I've bought have all been below the standard $60 MSRP: 3D Dot Game Heroes, Continuum Shift, Super Street Fighter IV, and Deadly Premonition.

Mitsunari has ridiculous hair, for sure, but I like what they've done for Tokugawa.

I'm more than a bit disappointed that many of my favorites from SB2 aren't returning as playable characters, though. No Zabi, Hanbei, Mitsuhide, Kenshin, Kasuga, Itsuki... gah. Sad panda.

It also seems that this game lacks the customizable special move slots from SB2. Oh well, I'm a tool, so I'll buy it anyways - just seems really strange that they would take out so much that made SB2 so much fun.
