Re: Super Mario Collection Special Pack
I wish they would come up with a collection that encompassed all the games up until Gamecube (since Gamecube Mario titles can be played on Wii). Whether or not they put in companion/spin off titles (Mario Kart, Party, the sports titles) would be a different matter... could be a big bonus
I'm just kind of tired having Mario All-Stars rehashed over and over again when there is potential for a much bigger robust package. I just feel like they could be using the Mario properties better... Hell, it's Mario's 25th anniversary so it should be something BIG!

Really don't see a reason why anyone would want this. You guys do, I just don't understand.

Yoshi's Island uses the SuperFX2 chip.Gnashvar wrote:I think every mario fan is. They were saying it had something to with the Mode 7 effects but Pilotwings works fine. Same excuse for StarFox.noiseredux wrote:I'm surprised it's not on VC. It even got a GBA release.Gnashvar wrote:I will be happy if Yoshi's Island comes out for the Virtual Console, even if it's not included in any collection.

Well, I'm always willing to pick up a remade classic. If it's just Super Mario All-Stars ported over/emulated on the Wii, no dice.jfrost wrote:Really don't see a reason why anyone would want this. You guys do, I just don't understand.

Hmmm, a possibly weak compilation that comes with an art book and CD for less than the cost of a regular CD (in Japan)... hell yeah I'm on for this!jfrost wrote:Really don't see a reason why anyone would want this. You guys do, I just don't understand.
