The last OFFICIAL game was Karous. When Ikaruga came out everyone was psyched because they thought decent dc games were over, that was 04 i think?

Doujin is pretty much what's left of development. Its a generation behind and a system that died early.

Eh just remembered, NG Dev Team does neo geo games, dreamcast ver are ports... hence why it looks less than full DC quality.

this title looks like a lot of fun, and i've been considering the MVS version of it, if only to support the fact that they're going ahead and making MVS cartridges and all that. it's a really cool endeavor.

I have Dux and Last Hope Pink Bullets and they are pretty decent so i pre ordered Fast Striker LE some time ago .

Come on guys, at least give us a poorly coded platformer or something...

Shmups most likly apeal to developers because their really small. Most only have 5 levels and around 20 enemies. Thats alot less work than say an open world game, or even a racing game.

However look up redspot games. They've made RushRush Rally Racing which is a decent arcade racer, and a puzzle game which im yet to buy.
