@Gamerforlife
Yes, I was talking about the classic series. I like Mega Man X very much, although I do think X2 and X3 are not that good. They're fine games, but nothing outstanding.
I'm a big fan of Rockman & Forte, though. It's one of the best Mega Man games, IMO.

You get the idea, if I had to keep one if would be the SNES
Ditto. I wouldn't get rid of either but if I had to, I'd keep the SNES~ My favorite of all.

If space is an issue, tell him to ditch both and get a Retro Duo or something. Not as good as the original hardware, but that way he can play both. Or forwhatever he sells he could get a SNES or NES USB controller and just emulate the games he wants to play.
Me personally? I'd just keep it.

As far as i know all the classics and the most popular for both systems. Double dragon zelda, punchout, mega man, turtles, you know all of them. When i told mark that i posted this forum up and he's or i'm going to get heat from this because every game fan will tell you dont get rid of nothing these days he told me this and i quote "Dude I want to get rid of these because i can play the games on my wii and the games look like crap on my flat screen"
I told him that you cant play the nes or snes on a 42" flat screen. Get a 19" old tv with the audio/video imputs,hook the systems up and try playing the games then. The games look soo much better. Hell even if you dont have an old tv people are giving them away. That's what I do and it works out just fine

That actually is a pretty valid argument. Via component cables on the LCD, NES & SNES games play fine on the Wii/VC/emu. Still, I never would get rid of my real systems. I'm not going to get the money I want for them and just because I can play everything on the Wii, I wouldn't get rid of the real experience for time to time gaming on them.
If he's hard-on to get rid of them, you take'm off his hands. At least they'll be going to someone who cares.

If all of the games he wants to play are on VC or have a chance of ending up there, it's certainly a valid arguement. But if his Wii dies, he'll lose all of them right? If the NES, SNES, or a single game gives up the ghost it's easier to replace the one thing to be back in business.

That's why you hack your Wii.

You can transfer your games to a sd card. That's what I do

I wouldn't sell either and keep both.
