I was just talking about this to my wife at breakfast this morning. Here is what I was going to run by the other mods before I posted, but since you started the thread here was my idea:
I run a couple where the winner gets about $500... and I was thinking about organizing one for RacketBoy members with a prize but not cash.
Here was my idea: 1. Only 12 teams. 2. Each team had to donate one game from a non current console. 3. The winner of the league would get all of the games.
I know more than 12 people would probably be interested, so I figured that once all member had pm'ed me the game they were going to donate we would have a vote on the 12 best games. Well really 11, so that I (or whoever) ran the league were automatically included. Here is a link to my other league: http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leaguesetup/settings?leagueId=19994
What do you think?
So, needless to say I am up for a FF league.
Edit: Oh, as much as I love ESPN's fantasy set-up. I would recommend yahoo (we use it for our NBA and MLB fantasy leagues) because you can rank your players ahead of the draft so that if you are not able to be present for the draft it will auto draft for you. I'm not sure if ESPN does that so, Yahoo might be better for a league where where not everyone can be present for the draft. (In my main league we have a guy from Illinois, California, and Georgia fly to Ohio for the weekend draft festivities!)

Looks like SpaceBooger and I were thinking along the same lines. There have been a small handful that are expressed interest, so we'll need some more before we start things up.
That being said, I would prefer Yahoo! as well... I just think they offer a better interface during the draft and in-season. I would believe that everyone would want to do a live draft, so if you plan on participating, or have already expressed interest, please post the most convenient times that you would be able to participate in the live draft.
For me, I'm good to go most evenings (PDT) except on Fridays as well as any weekend other than Aug 27-29th.

I'll post the pick'em league during preseason so all can join in time.
For now, it is the perfect time to start making ludicrous predictions:
Palmer throws at least three 300yrd. games. Tebow starts only once this season. Chris Johnson will barely break 2000 rushing yards. D. Hester will once become a decided factor for the Bears, and will make it to the pro bowl. Favre will throw more TD's than INT's. Vick will throw more gang signs than footballs. The Jets will win 6+ games by 3 or fewer points. The Ravens will start of strong, but lose momentum near playoffs. Everyone will talk about the Cowboys, but that is a given. DelHomme will continue to disappoint.
Ray Rice with have 2200+ total yards from scrimmage and MJD will get 1500 yards rushing.. You heard it here first!!! Also Chad Henne has a 85+ QB rating with 3300+ yards and 20+ TDs

A man can dream.
Hester has been running his mouth a lot lately to the Sun Times. I sure hope he can back it up, but if he isn't returning kicks, Lovie is out of his mind.
