The PS3 isn't region locked (or more specifically, blu-rays aren't region locked).

By the way, Deadly Premonition was by far my favourite game of 2010. I'd be more than happy to chat it up as you play.

right PS3's are region-free, and apparently the Japanese version (only PS3 version) is very import friendly for we English speakers. So I was super excited. But yeah. It's like $100 to import. :(

Funny thing is, I was going to pick this game up but never did.

G4 likened it to all those quirky Japanese survival horror games on the Dreamcast, and they do have a point.

Deadly Premonition is not only one of my favorite games of this generation, but is honestly in my top 10 favorite games of all time. It's so good.

I'm still really early -- I just got to the part where you encounter the axe guy in the woods for the first time. BUT yeah. I think this game is awesome. It's kind of like Twin Peaks running on the RE4 engine.
