Nice post, now I wanna go and play INDY 500 Flag capture!
Throw in Slot racers too! Da Dum (Slot race car starting-stopping).
Outta those launch titles, I have (bought used) carts only COMBAT and INDY 500.
Getting in original boxes as you wrote is near impossible.

I enjoyed your Atari post. Nice job dude.
Re: Transitions: The Launch Games/End Games Blog
Great idea for a blog. I was just having a discussion with someone the other day about why it is games at launch and games at the end of a console cycle are so different.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: Transitions: The Launch Games/End Games Blog
great post Dave!! I'm a huge supporter of post-mortum indie games. If I ever pull the trigger and start collecting DC games, then this will surely be on my want-list. I'd love to see more developers do things like this. I know of AT LEAST five GBA titles that have been released in this manner since the death of the console. I wonder if it would be possible for someone to make a "new" Gamecube game?
Re: Transitions: The Launch Games/End Games Blog
Great article! I didn't know about LAST HOPE as the last game on NEO GEO as well. Kinda an irony of the name, wonder if developer chose that on purpose? A mention of being able to play it on DC arcade stick. Are all the buttons custom programmable? I may eventually get this game if it will work on my digital only PS2 Blaze Stick with DC adaptor.
Noise, you should really take the Dreamcast plunge. So many titles and EMUs-homebrews to choose from.
