NCAA Basketball (SNES) - Mode 7 baby!
Madden 94' (SNES/GEN)
International Superstar Soccer Deluxe (SNES)
Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run (SNES)
NFL Football (SNES)

*as u can see, i played a lot of sports games during the 8 to 16bit era.

BTW Madden fans, I'm trying to figure out the best GBA Madden to buy. Basically, which feels like the best most long-lost-SNES version?

Hal's Hole In One Golf (SNES) - probably the best SNES golf.
NES Open Tournament Golf (NES)

Don't care too much for sports games.
But a couple oldies do come to mind.

2600 - Pelle Soccer (Okay crap, keep holding till hands blue, bubble switch controller)
C64 - Leaderboard Golf (Okay its not PC Links but not bad)
C64 - EPYX Summer-Winter Games (Joystick endurance test - see Pelle above)

NES - GBA - PC Engine - Super Dodgeball (I think most will agree with this one)

If Handheld part of survey then Mattel Football has got to be mentioned.
