^ Totally feel the same way.

My big problem w/ P3 is that I'd rather be in school the whole game instead of doing any dungeon crawling at all. It just ends up getting really tedious and just feeling like more of the same over and over again. I really enjoyed the dating sim/friendship aspect of the game, but wished I could express myself fuller instead of kissing people's asses just so I could boost the affinity w/ them. Also a lot of the music was just downright annoying.

i feel this sentiment too. i also liked the school part...but i found that it wasn't as involving as i had hoped it would be and also realized i was playing that for a few minutes, and then forced to go through a dungeon crawl that would often frustrate me. the music for me isn't too bad, my only problem was how repetitive certain songs became. but it wasn't really on my radar as a problem. i do like 4's music a lot more to be honest.

It was mostly the song that plays in your house/dorm/whatever that got on my nerves. At least in the dungeon you can eventually choose what song to listen to.

I got as far as the vacation before turning the game off for good. That was another problem really. The game kept screwing up my attempts to woo the ladies. Either I had to go hang out w/ some dude so his affinity w/ me wouldn't go down, or ... trying not to spoil it, but someone tried to make out w/ me even tho I was working on another girl. I felt like if I had more time I'd be better at juggling all these relationships, but the game just kept taking the time I had and squandering it.

Also I got the feeling like they made this really rigid schedule built in of a boss fight every month which meant you had 12 (!) bosses in the game. And you basically had to rush up, what was it, ten or twenty flights up the tower before the next boss so you'd be prepared. It just felt way overstuffed without enough variety.

I like game very much, it's style, atmosphere, story, but i think Persona 2 was much better because of it's dark and adult themed plot. I hate SHY scenes in P4, that's very time consuming ;///
