This game is the single greatest reason I want a PS3. Sure there are other reasons, but I want this game!

So I started playing this morning for about a half hour and it was snoozeville. Quirky and finicky motion controls and awkward CGI kisses do not a good game make. When does it get good?

That depends on if it gets good. There's no real plot yet, so I am assuming I have basically just moved through a tutorial basically. I didn't find the controls to be very engaging, though and am dubious about using them for the whole game. Has anyone tried it with Move? Any better/worse?

As I no doubt stated in my review, Heavy Rain isn't for everyone. You asked when it gets good. I'd say around the time when Madison is introduced. I thoroughly Enjoyed Heavy Rain, and I have played through it many times to get different outcomes. If the voice acting is jarring, try playing it in it's native French with subtitles. I found the English voice acting to be completely acceptable, but again not everyone agrees.

Playing Indigo Prophecy first isn't essential, but it does set up the kind of gameplay you'll be seeing in Heavy Rain. Remember, Heavy Rain isn't so much a typical videogame as it as an interactive film.

not at all. I was only asking to see if he had already experienced the sort of gameplay.
