I really wanted a physical keyboard with my next phone, but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it, too. :?
My phone has no physical buttons, unless you call a rotary dial a button.

I sold my iPhone 3G for £255 a few days before the IOS4 update dropped. It was a wise move on my part, they've already started to go for less than £200 brand new.

I would wait and see what the price of the iPhone 4 is on the second hand market before buying a 3GS. It might be worth getting the iPhone 4 instead (in the long term).

I'm getting the 32GB iPhone 4. Can't wait for Thursday.

This will be the first Apple product I've ever owned!
Yep, same for me I ordered online at AT&T since I couldn't get through on Apple store. My phone shipped out Monday so hopefully it comes early. What model is everyone getting 16 GB or 32 GB? I'm getting the 32GB iPhone 4 in black. I'm excited to own my first smartphone. I did consider Android and Google but I like the sleek style of iPhone. 8)

Since you got it early, you can go ahead and hop on EA's 48-Hour $.99 sale.

That's about 18 games that you can get for a buck each. If I had the opportunity, I'd probably buy everything.

The next Apple product I might buy will probably be the next-gen iPad. The iPad seems okay, but it needs more features and powerful hardware to make it effective at... whatever the hell it's supposed to do.
I think it's main purpose is to take more of your money and time.

I'm really happy with my HTC Incredible. in fact it's my first cell phone ever
I wish they had made the track pad double as the on/off but overall it's pretty fun to use. nothing glaringly better than my buddy's 3GS but maybe the camera and some apps but I think it's a better phone overall.
the only thing that bugs me is iPhones have alot more accessories and how it's connectivity has become ubiquitous. I just hope people risk making more accessories for android phones.

I noticed the shape of the new iPhone has changed, I wonder if that will affect it.

I got all wrapped up in the Incredible launch and pre ordered it, hope you all iPhone users have a fun un-boxing day
Ocelot, did it again...sorry Boss !

I am another happy Android user with my Motorola Droid. I love the physical keyboard and they make these cool controllers called the Game Gripper that slides over the keyboard for playing games. I hate touch screen games badly.

No offence, but why are people who aren't buying an iPhone 4, or even have the faintest interest in buying one; posting in this thread? Do you go into a PS3 thread saying that you have a 360? -Does not compute-

Which, out of that list of EA games is worth buying. I've picked up Sim City and Red Alert for 59p each so far. Tempted to get TW PGA Tour as well, is it any good?

Looking at the reviews, Red Alert didn't look very good. I picked up the NFS games, Tiger Woods, and FIFA 10.

Seems rather valid to discuss alternatives, as long as it isn't trolling - this is just IMO.

I've been wondering if I should get a "proper" phone with the niceties (like touch screen), but I reckon to have the "niceties" proper I need to pay a bunch monthly to one of the carriers in order to have net access included or something.
Considering how much I like to just stay home, I guess I'll continue using a minimalist phone.

I'm genuinely interested in knowing how you use your spiffy mobiles - in my commutes I just play DS lite. The thing I do miss (as should be obvious from another thread) is having GPS on-hand. I get lost very easily if I'm not looking at a overhead map (I jokingly blame it on extremely convenient auto-mapping in plenty of games :P )

I've got to wait until Thursday before I can even order mine. I have to wait a couple of days for courier delivery as well.
Consider yourself lucky that you can even order the damn thing. We have only 2 cell phone companies (Verizon which sucks balls, and Sprint, which sucks even more balls just not as hard.) to choose from. I use a pre-paid service with no contract. It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever have a contract with a cell phone company again. Verizon fucked me over hardcore when they bought out Alltel.
