No. Nintendo was not the first to do all of those things.
Nintendo is, however the first to popularize and actually make the technology work.
Nintendo's next console
Re: Nintendo's next console
I seriously doubt Nintendo will be bringing out a new console for quite some time. Also the 3ds is visually on par with PSP. Just throwing that out there. It's not a bad thing!

The difference is, just in case you haven't heard, IT'S 3D WITHOUT GLASSES! Also, there are so many great games coming to 3DS.jeffro11 wrote:I seriously doubt Nintendo will be bringing out a new console for quite some time. Also the 3ds is visually on par with PSP. A/B Buttons
Analog Sticks

Yup, I think so...Shoulder Buttons
Like with A/B buttons above, there were previous consoles with two primary and/or two secondary buttons - sometimes they even had 6 buttons, 8 buttons etc. Or are you giving Nintendo some kind of kudos for assigning them these letters?X/Y Buttons

Re: Nintendo's next console
Yeah, a disc has a significantly lower ratio of storage space to price than a cart does. I know that flash memory (what I assume a modern cart would utilize) can operate at considerably faster speeds than optical storage can, but it costs about 10 times as much to manufacture.yomomma1 wrote:You mean like rom carts?
