No. Nintendo was not the first to do all of those things.

Nintendo is, however the first to popularize and actually make the technology work.

I seriously doubt Nintendo will be bringing out a new console for quite some time. Also the 3ds is visually on par with PSP. Just throwing that out there. It's not a bad thing!

The difference is, just in case you haven't heard, IT'S 3D WITHOUT GLASSES! Also, there are so many great games coming to 3DS.

Like with A/B buttons above, there were previous consoles with two primary and/or two secondary buttons - sometimes they even had 6 buttons, 8 buttons etc. Or are you giving Nintendo some kind of kudos for assigning them these letters?

Yeah, a disc has a significantly lower ratio of storage space to price than a cart does. I know that flash memory (what I assume a modern cart would utilize) can operate at considerably faster speeds than optical storage can, but it costs about 10 times as much to manufacture.
