My cousin used to always bring over his GamePros. Then I decided to subscribe my damn self.
Then I started to get GameInformer because of FuncoLand.
Then I was in a grocery store and I saw an EGM; and they had a review for Toukon Retsuden (Japanese Pro Wrestling Game for PS1); and then I got hooked on import wrestling games. That was around 96 or so.

I have the starfox, donkey kong and banjo kazooie videos sitting somewhere in storage. I still have a nintendo power subscription today.Intangir wrote:I had a stint with Nintendo Power, enough to get a few of their VHS promos for one of the Donkey Kong Country games and Star Fox 64. But my favorite one was EGM. Remember how thick those old EGM magazines were? Good stuff. Don't have any subscriptions these days.
