Windows is still better than Mac OS X, which frankly sucks.

Also Linux sucks even more than Mac OS.

In what way does Linux suck compared to anything? It's free, you don't have to worry about viruses, it's compatible with almost any kind of hardware, it's much quicker loading (depending on the flavor), there are endless capabilities with the shell command line. Mac OS is just a really pretty version of BSD (Berkley Software Distribution), which is similar to Linux, with a few different types of shell commands, and runs a little more resource intensive. Windows has pissed me off for years, with it's viruses and technical issues. The only thing I don't like about what Mac is doing is that every device can essentially do the exact same thing, just on different, scaled down hardware.

Oh, hell...

I just came from a Mac forum! I left it because of all of these Mac vs. Windows discussions! :P
Pointless in my eyes, we all like what we like. So I'm just gonna say; you're playing with fire, guys!
Now I'm gonna get the hell out of this thread and hope you all survive! :P

true true.

Microsoft also has videogames, bing,Windows mobile, Zune,Microsoft surface

they are not Windows OS only either.

back to the topic, does this mean that Apple is worth more than Microsoft?
I don't understand stock market

As for mac vs windows vs linux discussions.
I don't think people should be running away from them,
There was a time when I genuinely felt(or knew) that Macintosh was BETTER than Windows.
Looking at how things evolved
Windows got better
Macintosh hardware+software got closer to windows

its not as big of a difference anymore, its just different needs.

All of these discussions should end with the fact that these different platforms appeal to different needs and wants.

Some people need a truck, others want a sedan, and some can't live without a van.
Its hard to say this 1 type of car, fits all.

I am a mac person, but I came to peace with the fact that mac hardware is over-expensive and underpowered , and it simply sucks at gaming.

If it makes you feel better, look over at the apple community, and you can see some real negative comments against Apple, something that was a blasphemy in the old days(pre-intel era). So fanboy-ism isn't that bad.

Was anyone even saying anything good about Windows in a mac forum, for there to be a debate?
