How to capture gameplay footage from the TV
Re: How to capture gameplay footage from the TV
You want to post vids for Youtube? I think FRAPS+emulator ought to do the trick, but then purists tend to hate me for ever mentioning that word

Well, it is better than pointing your webcam to the TV! I'll give you that Much...Pulsar_t wrote:You want to post vids for Youtube? I think FRAPS+emulator ought to do the trick, but then purists tend to hate me for ever mentioning that word
I've found that just plugging the signal into a camcorder works best for me. If you don't have a cable that splits into two connectors (one for the TV, one for your camera) you can always watch what you're doing on the tiny screen on the camera!
I'm a practical guy, I don't like messing about with several external devices and additional software.
By the way, Hello Racketboy, I'm new here!

Re: How to capture gameplay footage from the TV
I'm thinking of buying this thing
http://www.blitzcast.com/Blitzbox_AirDuo.html
if it works like it says, that's awesome. No cables no nothing and I can record almost every system I own. Yeah no HD signal but it's not like youtube can playback HD quality anyway (I don't know what that thing they say is HD really is, but their "HD" quality videos look what normal SD tv looks like imo)
has anyone heard if this is really as good as it seams?
