wow lucky kidfedexin wrote:Thanks! I made it small because it's for my soon-to-be first born. I want it to get plenty of use, so I made it pint-sized! I'll be able to play along on 2 player games with a USB controller plugged in under the control panel.pureevil wrote:That cab looks so nice great work.just wondering why you made it small and not full size?

Re: Mini Neo Geo MAME cabinet
would you be able to connect 2 cabinets together for vs play?
Re: Mini Neo Geo MAME cabinet
It's funny you should say that... It has a wireless adapter built in, and I was watching my family play around with it and was thinking that using an xbox or similar controller might be kind of lame, not to mention a potential disadvantage to seeing what's going on on screen. Then I thought of remote link play in the same network on another machine. Is this possible in MAME? I could fit several mini cabinets next to/opposing each other. It'd be a mini arcade, but still communal. Neat!ThunderPrince wrote:would you be able to connect 2 cabinets together for vs play?

Re: Mini Neo Geo MAME cabinet
how much did it cost in total?
Re: Mini Neo Geo MAME cabinet
Aside from lag it would be possible yes. I assume you're using something like joy2key, if not then it would be possible to use that, the computer would just see the remote input as keyboard presses and that's it. It's hard to explain, but given the hardware and an hour or so, I'd have it running definitely. Dunno whether the lag would kill the experience dead though.fedexin wrote:It's funny you should say that...
