Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick.
Seimitsu PS-14-KN 30mm Pushbuttons.

Thanks for all the input about the wiring. I Have to replace the bumpers on he bottom and I think when I do that I'll fix the wiring. I like the zigzag idea.

Yeah that is Emo Phillips! I was at the record store last week and that's when I got the idea for the jazz record themed stick. The layouts I had previously made were not too awesome, and I figured this would be easier. Plus I love a lot of geometry in there. The Persuasive Percussion one really did it for me. It reminded me of a character move list. These were some of the records that I looked at.

If you're going for a PS2 stick may I suggest using a PS1 Dual shock controller PCB they're easier to solder to and you'll get better compatibility if you decide to use it with converters in the future Playstation to Dreamcast for instance.

On a side note I see alot of American people using the word "Addicting" to describe something addictive. Is this what you guys say over there? I wasn't even aware addicting was a word.

I already have a busted ps2 controller. The analog is stuck going one way, so I'd need to solder some resistors into place to make it neutral. It was free so I might use it.

As far as I know addicting is a word.

Aren't the PS2 pads those plastic sheets? they're a pain to get contact on, some of the late PS1 pads are the same, there's a certain serial number on the PS1 that most of the modders look for when stick building. IIRC it's 1001

Either way PS sticks are great they a be used on alot of other machines with converters. I've done one myself but it's only in an old Dreamcast agetec case so it's not a cool as your own, I'd love ot build one from scratch out of wood..

I've looked up addicting but all the online dictionaries redirect to Addicted, which points to it being vernacular language. I know it's not used here in the UK, I find it fascinating that we speak the same language but there are so many differences.
