Megaman "some surprises in store for everybody."

That would be great. But 16-bit doesn't have quite the level of popular nostalgia yet that 8-bit has, so it's not likely anytime soon.

I can hope for Mega Man Legends 3 but I doubt it.

I've heard a few rumors of a Mega Man MMO, but man, I hope that's false because that sounds like a tremendously stupid idea.

We'll probably find out at E3 at the latest.

Honestly, I never understood the cult popularity of the MM Legends games. I played the first one and controls were garbage.

Well shit, Capcom was banking on you liking them. Mega Man X7 has the same control scheme.

If this game doesn't have "Legends" or "X3½" in the title then it's going to have to be really inventive to catch my attention. Still, it's been a while since we've seen a console release (that's not just wiiware).

I think Megaman has enough retro versions. It's time for the little blue rocker robot to do something next gen. And by next gen I don't mean another FPS game.

I could get on board with a fully 3D megaman game with ratchet and clank type graphics. I actually thought Lost Planet played a lot like a 3D megaman game should.

I've been saying that since Mega Man 9

The controls were fine. I think the game's awkwardness was more due to poor implementation of the 3-d visuals and the fact that the designers couldn't commit to going all 2-d or all 3-d, the game tried to do both.

After creating this topic I find out that the creator of the series said that Zero did not kill off the original Megaman crew. I think that's lame. It seems to go against everything the MMX series implied. It also makes Zero less interesting, not having a dark past. Makes his conflict over what he is a lot less dramatic, but why am I expecting good storytelling from Capcom? Their MO is to create a good story, then kill it. Look at the crap that is Resident Evil 5's story, which is suppossed to be the final chapter, before the series reboot

Having L1 and R1 tilt the camera and the right analog stick's X-Axis to go through your special weapons is NOT FINE.
