It just means I am back to trying to find players on Xbox Connect for Line of Contact.

Re: Last Day of oXbox Live -- How are you living your last day?
Since I just got my Xbox about a month ago, I will continue to play it offline. If I had been able to sign up for Xbox Live, I might have played a few rounds of Halo 2. Maybe I'll read a book instead.
Regarding those torrents, would I need to mod my Xbox to install them?

I just likely got in a couple of rounds of Star Wars Battlefront snuck in here at school. First time I've able to play multiplayer in months due to our campus wide bandwidth limiter. I'm glad I got to play, brought back great memories of playing with my high school friends hours some nights.

Yes but softmods are very simple to install if you have a memory card and a copy of Splinter Cell (any version of the original will do, including the greatest hits/classics version).Duane Dibbley wrote:Since I just got my Xbox about a month ago, I will continue to play it offline. Actaully, this might affect the PC version. Some people will migrate from Xbox to PC, and play Halo there.bladerunner wrote:I don't think the closing of oXbox Live would impact that at all. Halo PC will exist forever (theoretically) as you can easily make your own dedicated server.Ziggy587 wrote:So is Halo for PC still gonna be up?
I'm going to spend this last day getting DLC I haven't downloaded yet.

They'll just go onto Halo 3 or "THE ODST!" (Pronounced oohdst) instead.
Remember, the Frat boy/10 year old majority of Halo players don't know jack about PC's or PC gaming.

Re: Last Day of oXbox Live -- How are you living your last day?
I don't own copies of any games that would actually get played online. Live on the oxbox has been pretty much Halo 2 only practically since the game came out. I hope this makes kai more active though...
Re: Last Day of oXbox Live -- How are you living your last day?
Not really. Forza Motorsport had a huge following being pretty much the only simulation racing game with proper online play on consoles. I played hundreds of hours on it when I got it there was always full races to be had online even a good year or so after launch.t0yrobo wrote:I don't own copies of any games that would actually get played online.
