Which RPGs have "bad" voice acting...

I haven't yet played a game with universally bad voice acting, except for the aforementioned SF3. Most of the time it's one or two characters that have a bad voice. I've found this usually tends to be because Japanese games will have character archetypes that aren't commonly seen in Western performance art, and as a result no one really is sure how to handle the character.

Two of the worst offenders that jump to mind have been Tidus from Final Fantasy X and Luke from Tales of the Abyss. It really sucks when the main character of the game is just plain obnoxious, and both Tidus and Luke were extreme douchenozzles of the highest caliber. I could tell both of these were good RPGs, but I have a really hard time getting into them because I can't stand the character I've been given to play.

To be fair, Luke is a total dick for probably the first 1/3-1/2 of the game, but then he finds out that he is, in fact, a jerk, and becomes a little more likeable.

I'd have to say both of the main leads from Final Fantasy X were poorly acted. Yuna constantly acted like a robot.

A bit of a shame, really, because the rest of the cast in that game was quite competent.

I'm not even going to click on the link, cause I know it's the retarded laughing scene. That's where I quit playing the game. I'm serious right after seeing that scene (though I hated the game in general) I closed the PS2, took the game out and returned it to my friend I had borrowed it from. Terrible TERRIBLE voice acting.

Why does nobody ever pick up on the fact that the laughing is supposed to sound awkward and forced there? Just look at all the other characters, they're completely perplexed by it and even ask if something's wrong with them.

I mean hell even the japanese version's laugh was terrible.
