Right, you only connect it to your computer when you're flashing ROM(s) to it. About using it on a Mac, the software is for Windows. Doesn't Mac have software to run Windows apps though? Rosetta Stone, I think it's called. Also, doesn't Mac have that thing called Boot Camp? If you have a spare partition on your hard drive (or can create one) you can install Windows to it. When you turn your computer on you'll be given the option to boot into Mac or Windows OS.

found these too, I didn't realize there were so many flashcarts. definitely seems cost effective if I can get a hold of a working cd drive for cheap.
